About G.G.S Engineering

Originally founded in 1988 as a small sub-contract machining company situated in a single factory unit in Derby. G.G.S Engineering were able to capitalise on a willingness and ability to undertake the unusual and non-standard work that was always difficult to place. From giant excavator components for the Middle East to small assembly line parts all would be treated with the same attention to detail.

With the introduction of a design and draughting service G.G.S are now able to offer a complete project package from inception to completion in house.

Awarded Millennium Product status in 1999 for the steerable wheel motor, G.G.S went on to achieve quality assurance to BS/EN/ ISO9001:2000 in 2000.

As G.G.S customer base grew to include some of the areas leading companies, it became apparent that a larger production base was needed and in April 2001 G.G.S and its sister company S.E.T moved into Atlas Works in the heart of Derbys railway industrial area.

From our new home G.G.S can now offer a competitive range of services including fabrication, CNC turning, machining, grinding and milling. Large batch production and one-offs are still produced with the quality and care that G.G.S have become renowned for.
